Looking for a warm, low-pressure way to connect with other LGBTQIA+ adults in Melbourne? You’re in the right place. This solo-friendly social gathering is designed for folks who want to skip the small talk and dive into real, meaningful connections — all while having fun.

Hosted by Ben, a mental health professional who gets the unique social joys and challenges of queer spaces, this two-hour session is perfect for those who might feel shy about walking into a big bar or club alone. Whether you’re new to the city, returning to social life, or just want to expand your queer circle, this is your invitation.

The format? Think of it as ‘speed friending’ meets chill game night. You’ll rotate through short, structured conversations with different people — no awkward silence, no pressure to perform. Afterward, if you’re up for it, there are optional tabletop games to keep the vibes going. Bring your favourite game or just show up ready to play.

This is not a party. No dancing, no gogo dancers, no loud music — just thoughtful, joyful human connection in a safe, inclusive space. All LGBTQIA+ adults 18+ are welcome. Let’s build community, one conversation at a time.
