Meet Queer Friends @ Hex

Speed friending to help you meet fellow LGBT+ folk at Clifton Hill's iconic rock bar, Hex. Allies welcome!

Looking to meet other queer people in a relaxed and safe setting? Please join us at Hex in Clifton Hill, where we'll get warmed up with some speed friending rounds, then drop the structure for those who want to socialise freely.

We'll be bringing some party games for those who prefer chatting over an activity; there's a lovely quiet space upstairs for anyone who wants to get away from the noise.

Whether you come alone or bring a friend, our aim is to help you feel more connected by the time you leave.

This event will be facilitated by a mental health professional and some friendly volunteers, and is designed for all queer humans aged 18+. Harassment and discrimination are not tolerated at our events.
