Mineshaft: The Cruising Murders

Director Jeffrey Schwarz brings to life a gripping true story that resonates deeply with queer history. This 84-minute documentary-drama from the USA (2026, English) explores the haunting legacy of a series of murders in New York’s underground gay scene — a tale that’s equal parts heart-wrenching and vital.

Screening at Cinema Nova’s intimate Cinema 12, this session offers a safe, reflective space to engage with a chapter of LGBTQIA+ history that’s too often overlooked. Perfect for fans of queer cinema, true crime, and socially conscious storytelling.

With powerful storytelling, authentic voices, and a compelling narrative, Mineshaft is more than a film — it’s an invitation to remember, reflect, and connect.
