Online Social Club, August
Calling all trans, gender diverse, and non-binary folks in Victoria — let’s gather online for a warm, welcoming chat and some gently fun activities.
This monthly virtual space is designed for TGD people aged 16+ to connect, unwind, and feel affirmed. Whether you’re new to online communities or a seasoned Zoom-goer, you’ll find your tribe here.
What’s in store
Facilitated by Jessica (she/her), a Transgender Victoria peer support worker, who’ll guide gentle conversations and themed activities. Think icebreakers, group musings, and breakout rooms — all at a comfortable pace.
Bring something to share during show-and-tell — a book, soundtrack, doodle, or something that made you feel wonderfully you. No pressure, no judging. Just good vibes.
We ask you to join from a private, distraction-free space if possible — laptop preferred, but tablet or phone is fine too. Just keep your mic and camera mindful of others’ experiences.
Who’s this for
Trans, gender diverse and non-binary people across Victoria
Participants aged 16 and up
Neurodivergent, BIPOC, and all abilities welcome — we’re all about accessibility and inclusion
There’s a small registration fee, but if cost is a barrier, reach out — no one’s turned away. You’ll receive the Zoom link via email before the session, plus a reminder on the day. If you don’t get it, drop a line to programs@tgv.org.au.
Hosted with care by TGV’s Affirmation Station — Australia’s first trans-led community and peer support hub. A safe space to connect, explore gender, and pick up affirming items under one (virtual) roof.
