Pride Glee Club Singalongs: Breakup & Revenge Songs Edition
Get ready to belt out your heartbreak anthems, your sassiest revenge bangers, and your most empowering breakup ballads at the Victorian Pride Centre’s brand-new monthly singalong series! Forget piano recitals — this is your chance to grab a drink, hold onto your bestie, and unleash your inner pop diva without a single audition or solo pressure. We provide the lyrics, the piano, and the vibes — you bring your voice (even if it’s just a whispery mumbling into your wine glass).
Each 90-minute session includes a 10-minute interval for emotional recovery, hydration, and plotting your next karaoke domination. No need to memorize the words — we’ve got you covered. Just show up, sing loud, and let those heartbreaks turn into harmonies.
Each month has a new theme — July’s theme? Breakup & Revenge Songs. Think: “You’re not the boss of me now” meets “I’m too busy having fun to care” with a sprinkle of “I’m better off without you”. Perfect for those who need to shake off exes with a side of glitter.
Upcoming themes:
- February: Best of Broadway
- March: Pop Divas
- April: Wicked
- June: Fleetwood Mac
- August: Elton John
- September: Disco Inferno
- October: Cyndi Lauper
- November: Soft Rock Heaven
Glee Club is wheelchair accessible, welcoming, and completely judgment-free — unless you try to sing “My Heart Will Go On” during the Revenge Songs night. Then we reserve the right to gently side-eye.
Grab your tickets here — and yes, you can bring your own drink. No auditions, no solos, just pure, unapologetic musical catharsis.
