Dumplings Against Depression

Join us for a warm, nourishing afternoon of connection, culture, and community care at the Victorian Pride Centre. This heartfelt gathering brings together queer folks from all walks of life for an affirming space centered on mental wellness, shared heritage, and delicious Nepalese momos — all free of charge.

Hosted by AIDMH (Australians for Intersectionality and Diversity in Mental Health) and Our Solis Network, this event is designed to foster conversations that matter. Wander through vibrant expo stalls showcasing local services and community initiatives, then sit down at our World Cafe tables — where light-hearted, guided conversations explore the unique mental health experiences within multicultural queer communities.

Supported by the Australia Post People of Post Grants, this is more than a meal — it’s a moment to pause, breathe, connect, and remind each other that no one is alone. Whether you're seeking solidarity, simply curious, or just here for the dumplings (we don’t blame you), you’re welcome.

Bring your story, your questions, and your appetite. Let’s fill our bellies and our hearts — one dumpling at a time.
