Yeehaw, partners! Get ready to kick up your heels at the most fabulous hoedown this side of the Yarra! 🤠

The RISING Winter Hoedown is bringing you a boot-scootin' spectacular that'll have you dancing till the cows come home. Leading the charge are the incredible DJ Gay Dad serving up banging tunes between class tracks, and the magical Steppin' Out String Band featuring the talented Justin Vilchez and crew.

What to Expect

Your hosts for this rhinestone-studded evening are the legendary Country Struts duo:

• Gail (Abigail Varney) - A genuine rodeo dance queen dripping in denim and rhinestones
• Glenn (Alice Glenn) - Your concrete cowpoke and founder of No Lights, No Lycra, bringing over 30 years of combined dance experience

Whether you're a seasoned line dancer or just starting out, these boot-scootin' babies will have you strutting your stuff in no time. The event follows SHOUSE's mass-musicking surge at Communitas, making it the perfect way to keep the party going.

Location: Main Hall, Melbourne Town Hall
Duration: Approximately 2 hours

So dust off those boots, polish that belt buckle, and get ready to heel-toe your way into country dance heaven! As they say, "Five, six, seven, eight..." - let's throw down at this hoedown! 🤠✨
