Australian Premiere: A Fresh Take on Teen Comedy

Get ready for the queer teen comedy we've all been waiting for! Writer-director Siobhan McCarthy brings us a hilarious and heartfelt coming-of-age story that cleverly reimagines our favorite 90s movies through a fresh, contemporary lens.

Just before graduation, Alex and Ethan cook up a scheme to pretend to be trans women to get into the girls' lockers. What starts as a questionable prank takes an unexpected turn when Ethan has an awakening: she realizes she really is trans. Now, both friends must navigate their changing relationship and the complex journey of coming out.

Drawing inspiration from classics like 'She's the Man' and following in the footsteps of recent hits like 'Bottoms', this film transforms potentially controversial subject matter into much-needed comedy that speaks to both the LGBTQIA+ community and allies alike.
