Tender Boy — World Premiere

Directed by Lee Galea, Tender Boy is a heartfelt gay love story that brings warmth and depth to the screen. Follow Noah, a quiet bartender, as he navigates the unexpected spark with Cody, a charismatic football player. Their connection defies stereotypes and reminds us that love doesn’t always follow the script — sometimes it writes its own.

Perfect for fans of intimate dramas and modern romance, this 1h28m film speaks to the quiet courage it takes to open your heart — especially when the world isn’t always ready to see it.

This premiere screening is part of the Melbourne Queer Film Festival 2026, and we’re thrilled to bring it to you on the big screen at ACMI. Don’t miss this tender, timely tale that celebrates authenticity and connection.
