The Art of Becoming - Finding Your North Star

Calling all transgender, gender diverse, and non-binary folks 18+ — this interactive workshop is a gentle, creative space to explore identity, self-expression, and the person you’re becoming.

Facilitated by Skye Paez (she/her), a transgender woman with over 15 years in luxury beauty and personal styling, this session invites you to look beyond expectations and discover what genuinely feels like you. Through guided reflection, conversation, and hands-on exercises, you’ll uncover how visual expression — color, silhouette, texture, and grooming — can become tools for confidence and identity.

What to expect:

• Discover your personal ‘North Star’ — the qualities, values, and inspirations that guide how you want to present yourself.
• Learn how clothing and beauty can be used as tools for self-expression — no rules, no right or wrong ways to look or dress.
• Join journalling and visual exercises to create your own personal North Star guide — something you can return to as your identity evolves.
• Share questions and insights in a supportive group circle. Bring your real self — wear whatever outfit helps you feel most like you.
• No prior experience with fashion or beauty required — this is exploratory, welcoming, and designed to be fun.

About your facilitator: Skye Paez believes personal style isn’t about transformation into someone else — it’s about expressing more fully the person you already are. Her approach blends professional expertise with lived experience to make beauty and self-expression feel accessible, affirming, and joyful.
