Trans Life Drawing with Elias Youssef, November
Join Elias Youssef (they/he) for a two-hour life drawing class designed for trans, gender diverse, and non-binary adults (18+). Whether you’re brand new to sketching or a seasoned artist, this class meets you where you are — with gentle guidance, encouraging feedback, and plenty of space to explore.
Elias will kick things off with a short intro to foundational techniques, then guide you through a series of timed poses with a rotating cast of models who reflect the beautiful diversity of queer and trans bodies — often missing from traditional art spaces. All drawing materials are provided — just bring your curiosity and a willingness to play.
About Elias Youssef
Elias is a Naarm-based artist working across tattooing, oil painting, and digital illustration. Their practice explores classical forms with contemporary queer commentary, weaving stories of identity and belonging through line and colour. Elias also teaches regular life drawing workshops at Pink Ember Studio in Coburg — making queer art spaces more accessible to everyone.
