Trans Social Club, Sept 11
This gathering is designed for transgender, gender diverse, and non-binary folk aged 16 and over — a warm, welcoming space to connect, unwind, and share laughs with peers who get it.
Hosted at Affirmation Station in Brunswick East, the evening kicks off with a light social activity to help everyone settle in — a perfect icebreaker to meet new faces without the pressure. After that, you’re free to choose your own adventure: grab a board game, dive into crafts, or simply enjoy snacks and conversation. The vibe is chill, the space is affirming, and there’s no agenda beyond good company.
Facilitated by Jessica (she/her) and Kai (he/him), the group is all about fostering connection — whether you’re looking to chat, decompress, or just be around kindred spirits. Light refreshments are provided, and we’re keeping things accessible: wheelchair-friendly, air-purified, well-ventilated, and with quiet corners and fidget toys for when you need a breather.
We ask that everyone wear a mask (masks provided if needed) to help keep the space safe and comfortable for all. This is a neurodivergent, POC, and all-abilities-friendly environment — no matter how you show up, you’re welcome here.
If you’ve got questions, drop a line to programs@tgv.org.au. No need to RSVP — just show up, be yourself, and enjoy a relaxed night of community and care.
