Calling all trans, genderqueer, and non-binary folks in Newcastle for a warm, welcoming afternoon of good vibes, great food, and community connection. This is Newcastle’s very first T BBQ — a joyful gathering inspired by Sydney’s beloved T BBQ, brought to life by the lovely team at @newy_tbbq.

Set against the backdrop of Camp Shortland’s scenic park (between Nobbys Beach and Horseshoe Beach), this 18+ event is all about celebrating trans joy, visibility, and togetherness — in the most low-key, delicious way possible. Bring your friends, bring your stories, and bring your appetite!
