Club Broadway: SYDNEY

Get ready to belt out your favorite showstoppers with Club Broadway at Universal Sydney — a vibrant celebration of musical theatre, pop anthems, and singalong energy where everyone’s welcome. Whether you’re reliving your high school drama days or discovering the magic for the first time, this is your chance to dance, sing, and shine in a safe, inclusive space designed for LGBTQIA+ and ally communities.

DJ Dan Murphy brings the house down with a curated set of Broadway hits — think Wicked, Hamilton, Chicago, Les Misérables, Rent, Disney classics, Grease, The Sound of Music, Hairspray, The Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia!, Moulin Rouge!, and Six. Expect a nonstop parade of melodies that make you cry, clap, and maybe even stand on your chair (safely, we hope).

Live performers and drag artists join the lineup to bring theatrical flair and spontaneous magic to the night — think dazzling costumes, expressive vocals, and that unshakable joy that comes from watching artists give their all. Special guests will surprise you — no spoilers, but prepare for glitter, glam, and goosebumps.

The event takes place upstairs at Universal Sydney, a fully licensed venue with a friendly bar serving craft cocktails, premium wines, and local brews — all under the soft glow of stage lights and disco balls. It’s an 18+ night, so bring your ID and your best Broadway impression.

Accessibility is a priority — if you need assistance or have questions about accessibility features at the venue, feel free to reach out directly. We’re committed to making sure everyone can experience the joy of musical theatre, no matter how you show up.

Whether you’re a seasoned theatre nerd, a casual Disney fan, or just love dancing to big vocals and big beats, Club Broadway is your weekend escape. Sing loud, dance free, and leave with a smile — and maybe a new favorite musical.
