FAB Cultural Afternoon: Harry Seidler & Happy Hour
Join us for something a little different as FAB heads to the University of Sydney to see Migrating Modernism: The Architecture of Harry Seidler. This fascinating exhibition explores the life, influences and work of one of Australia’s most important architects, from his early years in Vienna and his encounters with some of the great names of international modernism through to the buildings that helped reshape Sydney and Australian architecture.
The exhibition includes architectural drawings, photographs, models and artworks and is a great chance to discover more about the man behind some of Sydney’s most recognisable buildings. Best of all — entry to the exhibition is FREE!
We’ll meet at the Chau Chak Wing Museum at 2.30pm, giving us plenty of time to explore the exhibition before the museum closes at 4pm.
Then… Happy Hour!
Afterwards we’ll take a short stroll to The Duck Inn Pub & Kitchen nearby for drinks, a chat and their Sunday happy hour from 4pm. Come for the exhibition, the drinks or preferably both!
Another relaxed FAB afternoon of culture, conversation and good company.
