Gender Revel Gala

Get ready to bloom with us at the Gender Revel Gala — a night of celebration, recognition, and connection for the trans and gender-diverse community and allies. Hosted by Transgender Victoria, this unforgettable evening takes place at The Substation in Newport, Naarm (Melbourne), where we’ll gather under the theme ‘In Full Bloom’ to honor resilience, joy, and visibility.

✨ All-Trans Line-Up ✨
Featuring an electrifying mix of talent: Rosie Rai (she/her) brings her dynamic DJ set to ignite the dance floor, Kitty Obsidian (they/them) hosts and headlines with a show-stopping performance, and Tom Foolery (he/him) drops beats that keep the energy soaring. Plus — an exclusive, one-night-only performance from an all-trans ballroom house that will leave you breathless.

🍽️ Grazing Dinner & Awards
Savor a thoughtfully curated grazing-style dinner with dietary options available — because everyone deserves to enjoy the feast. The night also includes the prestigious Trans Visibility Awards, celebrating trailblazers who’ve made a difference in our community.

Accessibility is at the heart of this event. The Substation is fully accessible, with Auslan interpreters on hand, dedicated chill-out spaces, peer navigators for support, and trans-friendly security to ensure comfort and safety for all. We’re also keeping things COVID-conscious so you can relax and revel worry-free.

This is more than a gala — it’s a homecoming, a statement, and a celebration of who we are, boldly and beautifully. 18+ only.
