Masculinity Workshops with ACON

Curious about the many ways masculinity shows up in your life? You’re not alone. ACON’s Masculinity Workshops offer a warm, thoughtful space for LGBTQ+ people of all genders to explore what it means to be masculine — whether that’s part of your identity, something you’re navigating, or just a concept you want to understand better.

These aren’t lecture halls or self-help bootcamps — they’re real, human conversations. Think guided reflection and shared stories, not PowerPoint slides. Open to cis and trans men, non-binary folks, and masc and butch women, the sessions invite you to show up as you are, without judgment. You’ll connect with others wrestling with the same questions, and maybe even find a few unexpected parallels.

ACON’s facilitators bring both expertise and heart to the room. Whether you’re unpacking childhood expectations, exploring gender expression, or just wondering ‘what even is masculinity, anyway?’, there’s room for your story. You can dip in for one session or make it a regular check-in — the workshops are designed to flow, not demand.

These gatherings happen at Kings Cross Library, level 2 — a quiet, inclusive corner of the city that’s perfect for reflection. And yes, they’re free. Because everyone deserves space to explore themselves, without a price tag.
