MIDNIGHT 3026
The year is 3026. What has happened to planet Earth? What has happened to the human race?
On the 25th of July, Parallaxis Productions presents MIDNIGHT 3026, a highly themed community variety show to showcase Sydney talent, including but not limited to burlesque, drag, comedy, dance and performance art. We ask the question what does the future hold for us in the year 3026?
Are we living in a cyberpunk dystopian science-fiction world where the only lights that shine through the thick heavy smog are the neon ones? Is it a more Mad Max diesel-punk post-apocalyptic wasteland? Has the rampant consumerism, corporate greed and environmental neglect finally caught up to us? Has a zombie virus outbreak resulted in social breakdown, scarcity of resources and a message about the importance of keeping our humanity even in the face of all that stands against it? ARE WE ON MARS???
We will be firing up the ol' time machine and setting course to navigate through the Temporal Branches at the super cool Liverpool Powerhouse. Dress accordingly.
