Patch Me If You Can! — Where Glitter Meets Grassroots

Get loud, get weird, get you. This isn’t just a craft session — it’s a neon rebellion stitched onto trucker hats and tote bags. For autistic, neurodivergent, disabled, and CALD LGBTQIA+SB young folks, this is your safe space to weaponize creativity. Graffiti lettering? Slogans? Doodles? All fair game. Transform anything fabric — bring your own jacket or rocks the supplied trucker hat.

But here’s the kicker — your masterpiece doesn’t just live on your shoulders. It joins a collective picnic blanket, destined for the Neurodivergent Wellbeing Conference on the Gold Coast. That’s right, your art will be the chill zone for fellow neurospicy delegates, turning conference halls into cozy, color-drenched oases.

No experience? No problem. All materials are provided, and the vibe is 100% low-pressure, high-vibe. Bring your ideas — and maybe a snack. We won’t judge if you show up hungry for both art and sustenance.

Accessibility is front and center — clear paths and accessible toilets mean everyone rolls in with ease. Tagged with LGBTIQA+, Visual arts, Disability-inclusive, Crafts, and Youth, this event is a mosaic of identity and expression.
