Pop2 [003] Sydney Hyperpop + Electronic

Get ready to dive into a sonic universe where glitchy beats meet euphoric melodies — Pop2 [003] returns to Sydney with a lineup that’ll make your spine tingle and your feet move. This isn’t just another night out; it’s a celebration of boundary-pushing electronic soundscapes, inspired by trailblazers like SOPHIE, Charli XCX, A.G. Cook, underscores, Frost Children, Slayyyter, and Ninajirachi. And yes — Daine’s also in the mix, so expect the unexpected.

Hosted at The Oxford Hotel’s underground space (yes, it’s as cool as it sounds), this event is curated for those who live for the hyper, the surreal, and the sonic explosions that make you feel alive. Whether you’re a longtime fan of the genre or discovering it for the first time, you’ll find yourself in good company — Pop2 knows how to bring together the curious, the bold, and the rhythmically inclined.

DJs on deck:

• GABSTARR
• MAYKE
• DOKIDOKI

No need to stress about what to wear — come as you are, because the energy here is about expression, not perfection. Just don’t forget your ID; this is an 18+ event, and we’re serious about keeping it safe and sound for everyone in the room.

Pro tip: Grab your tickets early. These nights fill up fast — and for good reason. You don’t want to miss the moment when the bass drops and the crowd becomes one pulsing, glittering organism.

Pop2 isn’t just putting on a set — they’re crafting a vibe. And once you’re inside, you’ll understand why this is one of the most talked-about nights in the city’s queer electronic scene.
