Join the Lesbian Sports Club for a fun, inclusive afternoon of social basketball, snacks, and good vibes at Green Square Public School and Community Spaces. Whether you're a seasoned player or just want to bounce a ball and cheer on your peers, this event is all about connection, movement, and community spirit.

No experience? No problem. We’re not here to compete — we’re here to enjoy the game, laugh, and maybe even sink a few layups. Bring your energy, your sneakers, and your enthusiasm. There'll be light refreshments to keep you fueled between drills and friendly matches.

Queer spaces matter — especially ones where you can move your body, connect with others, and feel completely yourself. This event is open to all self-identifying lesbians, queer women, and non-binary folks who want to play or just hang out courtside.

"We wanted to create something that blended sport with social bonding," says one of the organizers. "It’s not about winning — it’s about showing up, having fun, and celebrating who we are together."

Feel free to bring a friend, your favorite water bottle, and maybe a towel. We’ll have some basketballs and hoops set up, but feel free to bring your own if you’ve got a lucky one. Don’t forget to hydrate and wear comfortable clothes — this is a vibe, not a tournament.
