So What Are You Into?

Get ready for an unforgettable evening celebrating identity, connection, and self-expression — all wrapped up in playful, thoughtful exploration. Hosted by sex therapist Sel Nguyen and somatic therapist Taylor Neal, this special night brings together educators, performers, and community voices for talks, live acts, and a vibrant panel Q&A.

The night is all about curiosity, openness, and mutual respect. Whether you’re just starting to explore or you’re already deep in the scene, you’ll find a warm, welcoming space here. Doors open at 7pm (AEDT) for a 7:30pm start — come early to grab a drink, settle in, and mingle with folks from all walks of life.

We’ll be diving into how we express ourselves, what intimacy means to us, and the art of play — all while celebrating the beautiful messiness of being human. Performers and speakers will share personal journeys, insights, and stories that challenge, inspire, and delight.

There’ll be raffle prizes from generous sponsors, a fully stocked bar, and a mix of standing and seated spaces. Dedicated peer support volunteers will be on hand throughout the night to ensure everyone feels safe and supported.

All identities, bodies, sexualities, and experience levels are welcome. Our only rules? Respect, community care, and no yucking anyone’s yum. Disrespectful or non-consensual behaviour will not be tolerated — and folks who cross those lines will be asked to leave without a refund.

While there won’t be play, you might see kink demonstrated in performance or educational contexts. Think of it as a celebration of expression — not a party, but a gathering with heart, humor, and a whole lot of soul.

This event is 18+. The Red Rattler is a wheelchair-accessible warehouse-style space with non-gendered accessible toilets. Reach out if you need anything special to make your night comfortable — we’d love to help.
