Stretch & Sip
Unwind, reconnect, and recharge with a soul-nourishing blend of mindful movement and casual community vibes. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi, a curious beginner, or just looking for a gentle way to ease into your weekend, this event is designed for every body — and every level of flexibility (or lack thereof!).
Kick things off with a 60-minute guided yoga session led by experienced instructors who know how to make even downward dog feel good. Expect gentle flows, mindful breathwork, and plenty of modifications so you can move at your own pace — no pretzel-twisting required.
After you’ve stretched out the stress, it’s time to sip and socialise. We’ve partnered with a local brewer to offer a relaxed, post-yoga gathering where you can chat, laugh, and enjoy a locally crafted non-alcoholic or alcoholic beverage (your choice!) in the calm, therapeutic environment of Recentre — complete with infrared sauna, ice bath, and red light therapy for the ultimate post-stretch recovery.
This isn’t just yoga and drinks — it’s a sanctuary for your body and spirit, hosted by the lovely folks at Lesbian Sports Club. Whether you’re seeking gentle movement, meaningful connection, or just a sweet escape from the daily grind, you’ll find your place here. All identities welcome — bring a friend, bring your partner, or come solo and make a new one.
What to bring:
- Yourself (duh!)
- A yoga mat (if you have one — we’ve got spares if you don’t)
- A water bottle
- Comfortable clothes (yoga pants or shorts, loose tees — whatever lets you breathe and stretch)
- A positive attitude (optional, but highly recommended)
There’s no pressure to be perfect, no judgment for wobbly poses, and zero expectation to be a social butterfly — unless you want to be, of course. Our community thrives on kindness, compassion, and the shared joy of showing up for ourselves and each other.
Still wondering if this is for you? Here’s what past attendees have said:
“I came for the yoga, stayed for the vibes — and the non-alcoholic IPA. Honestly? Best Sunday I’ve had in ages.”
“As someone who usually avoids group exercise, I was surprised by how welcoming and grounded this felt. I left feeling lighter in every way.”
So whether you’re looking to build a new ritual, explore gentle movement, or simply enjoy good company in a safe space — this is your invitation. No experience necessary. Just bring your body, your curiosity, and your willingness to stretch — inside and out.
Please note: Tickets are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, consider gifting your ticket to a friend — or let us know, and we’ll help you find someone who can use it.
