Sunday Shenanigans

Every Sunday night, Universal Sydney throws open its doors for a queer open night that’s equal parts fun, fabulous, and full of surprises. Hosted by the dazzling trifecta of Les Beau Fierce, Victoria Mami, and Karma Bites, this is your chance to see some of Sydney’s most electrifying up-and-comers alongside iconic drag legends. Whether you’re here to watch, perform, or simply soak up the energy, Sunday Shenanigans promises a night that’s as inclusive as it is unforgettable.

The open stage kicks off at 10pm — grab your USB (clearly labeled!) and head to the bar to sign up with Victoria Mami. Seven performers get the spotlight each week, so be sure to arrive early — first come, first served! Shows start at 11:30pm with sets from Karma, Victoria, and Les Beau. Don’t forget: all performances are timed to four minutes, so make every second count.

Spin the night with DJ Johny Blue Boy, whose pop-heavy set will keep you dancing under the lights. Keep an eye on socials for theme nights — usually the last Sunday of the month — where the vibes get even more festive. With free entry and a warm, welcoming crowd, Sunday Shenanigans is the perfect way to end the weekend on a high note.
