The Alternative Clothes Swap
Bring your pre-loved gear and swap it for something new-to-you while helping keep fashion sustainable. Gifts of Mercy is hosting a relaxed, inclusive swap focused on alternative, indie, and vintage styles — think Dangerfield, Zara, handmade, reworked, and designer finds.
No fast fashion allowed — sorry Temu, Shein, Kmart, or Cotton On. We’re aiming for quality, character, and creativity. Items should be freshly washed, stain-free, and in good condition — nothing torn, pilled, or smelling funky.
You’ll drop off 10 adult-sized items (no swimwear, underwear, or accessories) and get a stamp to swap for the same number. Come and go anytime between 1pm–4pm — the racks keep getting refreshed as new folks arrive.
It’s a slow, chill space — perfect for browsing, chatting, and maybe taking home a piece for a friend. There’s a small step at the entrance, so mobility aids may need assistance. No public restroom on site, but nearby pubs and Norton Plaza are a short walk away. And please — keep the scents light to keep it comfy for everyone.
Leftover items? The organisers will keep a few to thank them for hosting — the rest go to Noffs. Grab a ticket in advance to guarantee your spot, or check availability at the door.
