A Revolutionary Exhibition of Silent Resistance

Honey, get ready to experience protest like you've never seen it before! 'Another Quiet Protest' is serving up a fierce dose of revolutionary realness through the power of stillness. Picture this: a dozen fabulous warriors frozen in time, their bodies becoming living canvases for thousands of untold stories.

These stunning figures are giving you historical tea, with iconic slogans and empowering affirmations painted across their forms like the fiercest body art you've ever seen. Werk! They're serving face under a gorgeous rainbow light show, embodying our community's eternal message: we're here, we're queer, and honey, we've always been fabulous!

This isn't your typical loud-and-proud protest moment - it's a masterclass in the art of subtle resistance. While our history books are filled with fierce marches and legendary riots (looking at you, Stonewall!), this exhibition celebrates those quieter moments of revolution: the simple act of living authentically, the courage to say 'this is me,' and the power of holding space for our chosen family.

From ACT UP to today's ongoing fight for trans rights, these silent sentinels remind us that revolution doesn't always need a megaphone. Sometimes the fiercest statement is simply existing, persisting, and serving face in a world that tries to erase us.

Special thanks to the Australian Queer Archives for spilling the historical tea that inspired this werk!
