A Heartwarming Lesbian Romance Set in Industrial Wales

Get ready for a delightful romantic musical that will make your heart soar! Chuck Chuck Baby brings together two incredible performances from Louise Brealey (Sherlock) and Annabel Scholey in this charming 'right person, wrong time' story set against the backdrop of industrial North Wales.

Helen spends her nights packing chickens and her days caring for her dying mother-figure Gwen. When her teenage love Joanne unexpectedly returns to her life, old sparks reignite, offering both women a rare second chance at love. This heartwarming tale is filled with working-class charm, celebrating the musicals we imagine in our minds, lesbian joy, and the beautiful possibility of finding love later in life.

As The Guardian's Andrew Pulver notes, this is "a rousing empowerment-anthem of a movie that's not afraid to paint its romance plotline in big, bold brushstrokes."
