LGBTIQA+ Creative Grief Writing Workshop
Join us for a unique and intimate online workshop designed specifically for LGBTIQA+ individuals who have experienced the loss of a loved one to suicide. Led by playwright and facilitator Ayşe B., this sensory-focused creative writing session offers a gentle space to explore and express your grief journey.
During this two-hour session, you'll be guided through a series of thoughtful prompts that engage your senses:
- Create a recipe of your grief
- Explore the sounds your loved one left behind
- Discover the textures associated with their presence
- Connect with memories through sensory exploration
This workshop provides a safe, supportive environment where you can let your mind rest and allow your senses to guide your writing, uncovering stories that live beneath the surface of your experience.
The session includes:
- Guided sensory writing exercises
- Optional sharing and reflection
- Connection with others in the LGBTIQA+ community
- Support from experienced facilitators
