Join us for this powerful Croatian coming-of-age drama that delves deep into forbidden love and self-discovery. Marko, a talented young athlete living in a small Croatian village, finds his world turned upside down when rising floodwaters threaten his community and his first love, Slaven, returns for his father's funeral.

As Marko navigates between his girlfriend Petra's expectations, an upcoming sports tournament, and his growing feelings for Slaven, he faces mounting pressure from all sides. While the village bands together to build walls of sandbags against the encroaching river, Marko struggles to contain his own emotions—only to discover that some forces of nature cannot be held back.

Directed by Čejen Černić Čanak, this 88-minute feature masterfully weaves themes of sexuality, family expectations, and personal identity against the backdrop of a natural disaster. In Croatian with English subtitles.
