Hosted under the vaulted concrete of the Sydenham Underpass — an industrial-chic backdrop that’s become a staple of Christchurch’s underground scene — you’ll groove to curated 80s classics and modern remixes. Arrive at 9pm for pre-show vibes, with the first DJ spinning at 10pm. Expect curated playlists that pull from every corner of the decade — from synth-pop anthems to garage-house grooves.

Between sets, hear from a special guest speaker who’ll reflect on the significance of 1986 — the year our laws shifted, lives changed, and futures were rewritten. It’s a brief but meaningful pause before the bass drops again.
